The European Law Students
Association, ELSA, is a non-political, non-profit organisation of law students and young
lawyers. ELSA is represented in 41 countries, giving voice to more than 25,000 individual
members from more than 200 universities. Each year since 1981, ELSA has been dedicated to
provide opportunities for law students and young lawyers and to assist them to be
internationally minded and professionally skilled. Our focus is on encouraging individuals
to act for the good of society in order to realise our vision:
"A just world in which there is respect for human dignity and cultural
diversity." |
Underlying everything we do is a drive to make a positive contribution to legal education
and to make our members LEARN, BE and ACT for the good of society. We develop youth by
providing a series of learning experiences linked to a diversity of activities in the
legal field such as Legal Research Groups, Moot Court Competitions, Seminars &
Conferences, and the Student Trainee Exchange Programme
