Following last year´s good experiece, ELSA Turku organised an Institutional Study Visit to Luxembourg and Strasbourg from 27th September to 7th October 2001. Also during this trip we went to the European Court of Justice and to the European Parliament. In the Parliament we had the opportunity to follow the plenary session. We also met the Finnish MEP Matti Wuori and the Ombudsman Jacob Söderman. The European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg was visited by us, too.

One of the best things during this trip was that we had the possibility to see the practical side of the functions of the institutions of the Union and the European Court of Hyman Rights. The meetings, on the other side, gave us plenty of new concrete information and created a more personal view on the different organs of the EU.
