ELSA Turku organised an Institutional Study Visit to Luxembourg and Brussels in September 2000. First we went to the European Court of Justice, where we had presentations of the Court itself, as well as of the functions of the Judges and their assistants. Arrived in Brussels, we visited the European Commission. That visit consisted of presentations e.g. of the Department of Legal Services and the Anti-Drug policy of the Union.
The last stop of the official programme of our trip was at the European Parliament, where an assistant of one Finnish MEP told us about her work.
In addition to all this, we also got familiar with the legendary ELSA House in Brussels where we had some training, too.
