My name is Jakob Nylund and I am 19 years old.I live in a village on the West coast of Finland. I have a little brother Simon who is 17 years old and a little sister Sofia who is 10 years old . Simon and I have been into knife making for about six years now. We make Scandinavian knives with hand forged blades from some of the best smiths in Scandinavia. We make both simple utility knives and more exclusive knives. We use all kinds of materials of the highest quality available to us. last year we also started to make Flatware. Both my brother and I are interested in hunting and fishing and got a hunting dog together. We hunt all kinds of small game and birds. This year we also took part in some knife competitions with great success, among others my brother won the Finnish championship in knifemaking, for under 18 year old makers.

My Father plays the guitar and sings in a rock band called Flashback. He makes and plays his own guitars, taste guitars. He also makes the pickups for his guitars by hand.
