The slicer is, as all the flatware that we makes, made of curly birch and
have a blade that is made in stainless steel. The slicer has a sharp edge so
you can use
it for slicing pies, pastries or pizzas.
You can get the handle in four different designes:
-
Curly birch with a white corian bolster
-
Curly birch with a light, grey speckled corian bolster (Like the
one on the picture)
-
Curly birch with a buffalo horn bolster
It's only the material that is different between the designs, the shape and
profile of the handle are all the same. Corian is a synthetic-material and is
often used in boat furnishings.
Corian is both durable and easy to keep clean. The buffalo horn is also quite
durable and easy to keep clean but it isn't as good as corian in that aspect.
The buffalo horn is mostly
black but some times it also can have some small nice white stripes.
I recommend you to hand-dich our products. The handle may fade a bit by time,
but it's easy to take care of that
by yourself. You just have to oil the handle and sand it with a smooth sandpaper,
or polish it with a piece of cloth or something similar. Use a sandpaper between
600-2000 grit if you
are going to use a sandpaper. I use linseed oil when I oil the handles but
paraffin oil or even cooking oil do also work.
The
price for a slicer is 22€, one with a buffalo bolster is 24€. Contact
