About us and our breeding - Part Two (2012 -  )

(to read  about years 1992 – 2011, see further below).

February 2012 CIB FI EE SE LV, V-10 Rejejs Joie De Vivre gave birth to 3 puppies, sired by Ch RU CH RU J CH Carnoustie’s Attired By Frost
One export to Russia, RU CH RU J CH Carnoustie’s To Russia With Love, and she has produced promising puppies in Kaprize Ekateriny-kennel.
Shades of Frost and Frostflake in Finland both HD-free, ED-free, but sadly never used in breeding.

August 2012 it was time for FI EE SE CH, EE VET CH, VICE WORLD VET W-14 Carnoustie’s La Dolce Vita’s last litter, sired by Ch Silverlady’s Dream Maker.
As she in her two previous litters always had had problems with dead born puppies, we monitored the pregnancy extremely well,
measuring several times progesterone levels, thyroxin levels, infection levels etc, and all seemed well, until the last days before due-date,
when several puppies died. We did a caesarian,  several dead puppies and only one survivor, FI CH HEW-15, W-17 Carnoustie’s La Dolce Fiore
Since her mother in three pregnancies has had problems, we decided to not risk  La Dolce Fiore’s life by trying to get puppies with her.
Summer 2018 she also got a pyometra and is now spayed, living with us as a beloved pet and fabulous show dog.

Autumn 2012 we mated LV imp. Rejejs Niagara Song to Ch Carnoustie’s Love is My Desire, and got a beautiful litter of five puppies,
two of them immediately gained CCs at shows. But sadly, two with severe dysplasia.

Late autumn 2012 we took a wild chance, and used the almost 10 year old  CIB Downmoore Carried Away, a son to our late CIB Corydon Will Carnegie.
And we got lucky,  our tri bitch FI EE CH EE LV J CH Carnoustie’s La Traviata produced one beautiful sable male that we kept – Carnoustie’s Carry On.
He was x-rayed as a yearling, and all seemed fine in the x-ray, and the shock was enormous when the Finnish Kennel Club statement arrived, stating a
result of 2/2 elbows and B/C hips.  We decided to wait a year and x-ray him again, and used the best veterinary in Finland, and once again the pics were
sent as healthy (A/B hips 0/0 elbows). The hip-result arrived in one day from the KC, stating B/B, but the veterinary refused to give a result for the elbows
(probably she was wondering how the hell she had managed to see 2/2 elbows in his previous years result). First six weeks later, when I contacted the KC’s chairman,
saying that she should order the veterinary to give him the statement we have paid for, she finally gave the result – which was a compromize,
giving him 1/1, which allowed us to us him in breeding, but did not embarrass her as much as if she would have given him 0/0 which he really deserved.
Pity, as he is a top dog with a fabulous pedigree, but not many will use him, thanks to his odd health results. So far we have used him for two litters,
and he is producing top quality! He was shown in puppy and junior classes, but due to the odd health results, we saved some money and kept him at
home while wondering what to do with him. He is used to travel along with us, but will need some ring training  before he returns to the show ring,
as he has had a break for more than four years.

2013 we mated Ch Rejejs Joie De Vivre to our J Ch Carnoustie’s Dark Moon Shining. A lovely litter of six puppies, which sadly ”disappeared” as pets.
One export to Latvia, but sadly she got a prick ear later so no showing.

April 2013 we mated our breeding term bitch Ch Carnoustie’s La Vida Loca  to Silverlady’s Dream Maker, and got one sable bitch that was purchased
by La Vida Loca’s owner. She was healthy in hips, elbows and eyes, rCC from shows, but did a bad temperament test with low points. Living mainly as a pet nowadays.

June 2013 we mated our RU imp. Kapriz Ekateriny Limelight Carnoustie to  J Ch Carnoustie’s Dark Moon Shining and got a nice litter of five puppies.
Merle male Crystal Moon has been succesful at shows with CC, CACIB,  he has healthy hips, elbows and eyes, but sadly sterile.  One bitch D/A hips and was later,
a bit surprising, euthanized due to hip problems.  Limelight herself sadly died a couple of years later in stomach cancer.

June 2013 also CIB FI EE CH, FIJW-09, W-09 EEW-12 Carnoustie’s Solitaire had a litter, sired by Ch Irokon Titanium. This litter was a tremendous success,
with FI CH, HEW-17 Carnoustie’s Diamonds Are Forever (who has produced champion offspring),  FI SE EE LT CH EE J CH TK1 Carnoustie’s Zirconium
who has produced CC/CACIB-winning offspring, SE export Blue Sapphire who has 2 x CC, BOB, BIS-2 from Sweden, approved MH-test Sweden, and
also the fabulous superb mover SE exp. RLD N RLD A RLD F LD START Aquamarine, who has countless CCs, CACIBs, BOBs, BIG-placings  from shows,
competes at highest level in Rally obedience, has approved working trial result, has approved obedience trial result, and also approved agility results –
showing that a collie can! Sapphire, Zirconium, Diamonds Are Forever and Aquamarine all health examined with excellent health.

January 2014 CIB FI SE EE LV CH, V-10 Rejejs Joie De Vivre for Carnoustie gave birth to an interesting litter, sired by GB imp. Shandlmain Soul Strider. Seven puppies,
of which FI CH Silvery Shade has been very succesful gaining his CCs and also CACIB BOB in Finland, and also siring two litters of extremely high quality.
His litter sister FI EE CH HEJW-14 Carnoustie’s Sparkling Joy competes in herding trial and has approved results from two classes.
Sparkling Joy has also produced  succesful litter with excellent health and some CQ/CC-winners.

August 2014 CIB FI EE CH, FIJW-09, W-09, EEW-12 Carnoustie’s Solitaire was mated to GB imp. Shandlmain Soulstrider and produced a litter of four puppies with a bit of a mixed success.
Icing on the Cake was exported to Sweden, and is health examined with A/A-hips, healthy eyes both as puppy and as adult, and has taken several CCs and BOBs,
and also done the swedish MH-test with good results. His litter sister Flirty Cupcake was also sold to Sweden to a breeder but sadly had B/E-hips and was later on sold as a pet.
Their litter sister Cupcake Flower in Finland was euthanized at 4 months age due to hydrouretria and mononephrosis.

December 2014 CIB FI EE SE LV CH, V-10Rejejs Joie De Vivre for Carnoustie had her last litter, sired by RU CH RU J CHCarnoustie’s Attired By Frost. She produced a lovely litter of five puppies,
of which we kept FI CH JW-15 Carnoustie’s Frosted Joy.  Sadly Frosted Joy’s hips and elbows were a catastrophy, and she was sterilized. She is a succesful show girl,
being Top Collie Bitch 2017 in Finland, taking six BOB in a row! Her litter brother HEJW-15 Dreams By Frost has CC BOS from  internatiol shows,  healthy hips and elbows,
approved temperament test with +155 points at 2 years age, and also approved bear test. Hopefully someone will understand to use him, though a LTV3 in his back.
Mentality like his is a rare thing, which means that I think he would need to be excused for the LTV3, and of course, combined to a bitch with a healthy back.

RU CH RU J CH Carnoustie’s Attired By Frost, who had been living for many years in Russia at Tete-A-Tete kennel, survived the catastrofic fire wich destroyed a big part of
Tete-A-Tete’s home and kennels, and joined us in Finland, and sired a couple of litters before old age and prostatic problems stopped his  breeding work.
CIB FI EE CH FIJW-09, FIW-09, EEW-12 Solitaire was mated to him and produced a very nice litter of five puppies in August 2015, of which all are hd- and ed-free (four examined in Finland, one in Slovenia),
and also  3 out of 5 were cea-free as puppies.  Merle male Echnaton was booked to go to a world famous kennel in GB, but as one of his testicles was a ”elevator-testicle”,
the plans had to be changed. The testicle later came down, but at that stage he was already sold as a pet.  Tutankhamon was sold to Slovenia where he took a  Jun CC,
but was later sold as a pet to Holland.  Venus and Amon-Ra health examined but living mainly as pets.  Aphrodite stayed with us, and her value for us, as a brood bitch,
is extremely high. Her first litter, sired by Carry On, produced a huge litter of actually 8 puppies, of which the first born was 500g big and was stuck in the birth channel
for more than four hours, causing his own, and four other puppies death. But three survivors, all sable, of absolute top quality!

April 2016 LV imp. Rejejs Niagara Song was mated to Carry On, and produced a nice litter of 4-5 puppies (can’t remember the exact amount).
During that time, a bad diarrhoea for dogs was going on in the neighourhood, and despite all actions taken to not get the bacteria home, we lost almost the whole litter –
one after another started vomiting, and draw fluids down their lungs and nothing could be done to save them. Only one survivor, who had her mother’s high tail carriage,
and she was sold as a pet.  Six months later, Rejejs Niagara Song died in an acute pancreatic infection – the same cause that killed also her father.
So perhaps it was better in this way, to not continue this line, as also Niagara Songs grandsire (owned by us) died in some kind of auto-immune problem which finally
caused him fluid in the abdomen,  and a stroke.

Ch Attired By Frost mated bitches from Fresita’s, Kristallisäde and Silverlady’s, but sadly no puppies. The  Fresita and Kristallisäde bitches had puppies at 4 weeks scan, but then aborted them.

Summer 2016, with the last few semen Ch Carnoustie’s Attired By Frost obviously had, he mated FI CH HEJW-12 Carnoustie’s Nefertiti, and she got one tri male, whom we kept.
He was x-rayed with, according to Finland’s best veterinarian, A/A-hips and 0/0-elbows, but once again the KC’s veterinary did an ugly trick and gave him B/C-results on hips, elbows 0/0.
This young man has a shiny black coat of correct texture, perfect tail carriage and moves nicely – so hopefully people will anyhow use him in  breeding, as he is BIS-winning Nefertiti’s
only offspring, and Attired By Frost’s last son. Sparkles N'Bubbles is owned by us, but is staying with our friends who live a couple of km away from us.

August 2016 Ch Carnoustie’s Solitaire’s last litter was born, sired by CIB Absolute Dynamite of the Windy Lands. A beautiful litter of six puppies, of which we initially kept
both Show Stopper and Pandora, both cea-free already as puppies.  Pandora had a light ear, and as we also realized that training three youngster
(Pandora, Show Stopper and Sparkles N’Bubbles) will be too much work, we let her go to a sheltie breeder, who hopefully will breed from her.
Merle female Neytiri was white factored and sold as a pet.  Merle male Record Breaker was exported to Slovakia, where he has really made success,
taking in Slovakia, Slovenia and Austria countless jCC’s, CCs, CACIBs and BOB, and is SI J CH. He will without a doubt become CIB.
We kept his merle brother Show Stopper, who had a tremendous junior career, taking 9 class wins in a row, including 3 x CC, 2 x BOS and finished
as # 7 Collie Male in Finland 2017 from junior class.  He is maturing slowly, and has changed coat a couple of times, but 2019 we hope to have him in
full coat back in the ring to take his crowning CC, and he also has some bitches visiting this year.

June 2018 Carnoustie’s Aphrodite got her first litter, sired by Carry On, and I already earlier had described the problems during the birth,
with one puppy stuck in the birth channel for a very long time, causing me a lot of new gray hair.
Three sables born, two cea-free males and one female, La Dolce Diva, with slight crd that we kept.
Future will tell what becomes of them, but we have very high hopes.

During 2019 we plan to mate Dispiritos Stara Zagora for Carnoustie to Carnoustie’s Carry On, and  Carnoustie’s Aphrodite to CH Carnoustie’s Silvery Shade, and hopefully all goes as planned.

About us .. Part One, 1992 - 2011

Carnoustie´s collies are owned by Susanne Roos & Thomas Strömberg.
I - Susanne am a secreterary, and work 4 h/day at the local health centre.
Thomas is  a service man at Caverion.

We live in a old wooden house about 3 km from the centre of Jakobstad.
We bought the house in lousy condition for more than 30 years ago, and
the re-doing of it never stops :). And as we finish one room, our dogs
(usually the puppies) manages to make some new  projects for us :).

Our dogs live inside the house with us, and they are all in first place
beloved family members. During afternoon and evenings when Susanne
is home, they are allowed to play and chase in our fenced garden.

Earlier we were training  and competing working trial, obedience
trial and agility, but as  the breeding and showing took more and more
time,  we realized that we can´t do it all. So our dogs are mainly going
to shows nowadays, and are being temperament tested and health tested.

We have both  been active in the local kennel society, since the middle of the
90s, (Thomas has been vice chairman, and also Susanne has been
vice chairman for many years). Susanne  is also  temperament test
steward and ring steward, and has worked in the show committee
for the international show in Vaasa, and worked in the show committee
for  the national show in Pietarsaari as vice chairman and judge secretary -09,
and was chairman in the show committe for the show in Jakobstad 2013.

We bought our first collie 1989, a tricolour bitch named Annakarenina
(Dragonen Strikin Midnight – Riffendal Betty Boop), mainly as a pet.
Susanne had always had both dogs and horses, so for her it was natural
to have a dog also when she moved away from home. Annakarenina was
healthy in hips and eyes, and one year later arrived her blue merle boyfriend,
Fribyn Rockabillyblues (Ebony of Joshren x INT CH Riffendahl Yverett Loozie),
who was hd-free but had coloboma-eyes.  With “Lady and the Tramp” we went
to some shows without any bigger success, and trained also working trials.

1992 we decided to combine these two, and got a big litter of 9 puppies. We
kept one blue merle bitch, that was hd-free with crd-eyes. She got a CQ from
shows, and a 3rd price from working trial, but was not of high quality enough
to  breed from. Later on, we sold her as a pet.  The same combination was
made once again 1993, and we got five pups, all with nice temperaments,
but of no show quality.

Year 1995 we saw an advert about Corydon Gold Bond arriving to Finland, and
decided to use him  to get better expression and stronger bodies. We got quite
a nice litter from the show point of view, but their health was catastrophal.
3 of 5 had hip dysplasia, and one pancreatic dysfunction.
We kept one sable bitch, but she had a  severe hip dysplasia, and lived with
us as a pet for her whole life. At the  same time, also one bitch from our second
litter got pancreatic problems,  so we decided to not breed from Annakarenina again,
as she had produced pancreatic problems with  two males from completely different lines.

We decided to  buy some better quality dogs for breeding, and Barbara, John and
Miranda were kind enough to sell us Corydon Will Carnegie, who later on became
INT CH, and has been one of Finland´s most succesful show- and stud dogs during
late 90´s until todays date.  With this male, a big change happened in our breeding
– he was giving beautiful heads and expression, good bodies, excellent
temperaments for the temperament test,  and the health resultats were excellent.

At the same time we also bought Black Elles Tara´s Hope, who also was
cea-free and hd-free. Together with Winston she produced beautiful puppies,
but sadly enough she always produced a couple of hip dysplasia in each litter.
She also had a very tough temperament, which she left on to her children –
they were not easy to handle, but  when managed and given enough activity,
they were lovely characters. This combination was made twice, and produced
FIN CH Carnoustie´s Eyecatcher, and CC, CACIB winner  Carnoustie´s Golden
Wonder, CC,BOB winner Carnoustie´s Walk  on Top, and the valuable
brood bitch Carnoustie´s Black Velvet, who herself had several BB-placings
though sparingly shown.

We kept Black Velvet as a breeding term bitch, and she was mated in Norway to
INT N DK CH Corydon Star Macadam, and we got a beautiful litter of 5 pups.  This was
a successful show litter, with CC-winner Carnoustie´s Alone A Star, SE FI CH Chestnut Star,
agility-CC  BH TK1 Ode To Mac.
Chestnut Star, Ode to Mac and All in Gold are temperament tested
with high temperament test points. But once again, two with hip dysplasia.

From this litter we kept SE FI CH Carnoustie´s Chestnut Star, who in her turn was mated
back to her grandfather Corydon Will Carnegie. They  produced a litter of 3 bitches.
Also some hips faults in this combination.
We decided to leave this bitch line, as we could not remove the hip problems.

Corydon Scarlet Seqret had arrived from England, a bitch with an outstanding
personality and temperament. She was a little deep in her head and could have
had a stronger underjaw, but had a lovely expression, and a wonderful body with
low hocks and strong, powerful movements. Unfortunately she produced only one litter,
but that litter gave us EE RU SE LV CH Carnoustie´s Will Do Impact, and CQ winner
Carnoustie´s Ray of Light. These two dogs have in our opinion the best mentalities we have
ever bred. They had the right “engine” to work, the right power and temperament when
needed, but are also kind and charming. Both were temperament tested with high points.

Ray of Light was mated to INT CH Corydon Beam Me Up in Denmark, but unfortunately
no pups, due to his low sperm count.
Later she was  mated to Black Elles Robin Hood, but the pups died and we had to
remove her uterus. She lived as a beloved pet with us for almost 14 years.

During this time, we also had a Heidelind´s bitch, that was placed as a breeding term
bitch from Black Elles kennel at our place. She produced only one litter for Black Elles,
and after that developed a tumour in her uterus and had to be spayed. We let her go to
a good family as a pet.

After that Linda Jurgens  from Estonia contacted us, and offered a blue merle bitch
puppy to us.  At first we said no thanks, we had no money, and no space for any new
dogs. Linda anyhow insisted that we should have her, and so Heidelind´s Pleasant As
A  Zephyr arrived to us. We got many comments from breeders who where convinced
that this tiny little bitch will never be of any use for us – but how wrong they were!
She turned out to be beginning of our successful blue merle line. Sefi herself had
valuable old lines behind her, and she has  left outstanding puppies that
have been very beautiful and also their health and temperament have been excellent.

From the first big litter with INT CH Golden Mist Black Lombardi the blue merle bitch
Carnoustie´s Moon Flower is well-known at the show scene,  she has 3 CCs, rCC, rCACIB
and BOB, BIG-4 from Finland, Sweden and Norway. Also her blue brother, Blue Sensation
took a rCACIB in Sweden, another blue brother All in Blue was very successful both in
obedience, agility and working trial, having approved BH-test, 2nd price from obedience
trial open class, competing in agility,  and had approved temperament, as Moon Flower and
Blue Sensation too.

Sefi´s following litter was with INT MULTI CH Breezdon Only Edition in Heidelind,
and she produced once again a big litter. From this litter we kept
FI RU EE LT CH Carnoustie´s Silver Flower, who in her turn gave us a beautiful litter
of 6 pups to FIN CH Ingledene Powerplay – 4 of 6 puppies were exported, the most
succesful one being LVW-09 C. Flower Power with CC, CACIB, BOS.
Later on Silver Flower  produced a wonderful litter to BH Leaftribe Old Black Joe.
In Sefi´s and Eddie´s litter also All For Pleasure took one CC, as also Treasure of Mine,
both with approved temperament tests.  All For Pleasure produced one litter for
Downmoore kennel, and a couple of litters for Patrik Keskilä/Niraleen.

Sefi´s 3rd and 4th litters were with GB import Brilyn Touch of Black, and she
produced once again outstanding quality in big litters : merle male
C.I.B  BALT EE LV LT CH, EE LV J CH, BALTW06, ESTW08 Carnoustie´s Touch of Frost
was extremely successful in his new homecountry Estonia. We mated our DK import
bitch Pahlex Attired By Addict to him, and kept the wonderful blue bitch
Carnoustie´s Frosted Flavour, who sadly had to to be put down at young aged due to illness.
Her litter brother, RU CH C. Attired By Frost was a succesful show- and stud at Tete-A-Tete kennels in Russia, with
several BIG- and BIS-placings. He was also producing hiqh quality puppies of excellent merle colours.
Their sister, Baltic Frost became FI CH, and had approved temperament test
with very high points.

From the first litter with Sefi and the Brilyn male we kept EST CH EST J CH
Carnoustie´s Pleasant Touch as a breeding term bitch, and she produced one litter to us with
Carnoustie´sWill Beam Me Up. Pleasant Touch also has approved temperament test.
From the second litter with the Brilyn male, we exported merle bitch CC, BOS
winner Blue Goddess to Norway, where she has taken CCs, and proved herself a
broodbitch worth her weightin gold, and merle bitch NORDW-09 Moon Goddess stayed in Finland.,
and produced a couple of litters for Sandcastle's kennel.

Sefi´s last litter was born November 2007, consisting of 3 blue merles, of which
we  kept one blue merle bitch, Carnoustie´s Morgongåva, but later on sold her to our friends, who have started a
good show career with her – the other bitch  went to Sweden, both of them cea-free already as puppies,
and with healthy hips and elbows. Both bitches has BB-placings. The male was heavily marked and sold as pet.

2003 we mated Black Elles Tara´s Hope to INT CH Black Gary Friendly Face, and
got 5 puppies, of which one tri bitch was put on breeding terms. She was later
mated to INT CH Corydon Will Carnegie, and produced a litter that was not of such
high quality, though one sable bitch has managed quite well on shows, and in her
turn produced a nice litter at Safirrubir kennel.

We also mated our CC/CACIB winner Heidelind´s Hannalara at Carnoustie to
Black Elles Robin Hood, and got 2 pups of medium quality of which we kept nothing.

A couple of years earlier Corydon Prima Diva had arrived from England, and was
mated to Corydon Will Carnegie -  she produced two very high quality litters,  in the
first one superstar C.I.B. FI SE RUS EE LV LT BALT CH, BALTJW03 Carnoustie´s
Viva La Diva, rCC winner Carnoustie´s Primavera, and in the second litter
C.I.B. FI LT SI RU CH, Multi Winner Carnoustie´s Prima Fantazija.

Carnoustie´s Viva La Diva was mated to INT MULTI CH MULTI WINNER
Heidelind´s No Good For You, and gave us a very important litter. Two of the pups
went as exports, C.I.B SI HR CH SI J CH Carnoustie´s Crème De La Crème to Slovenia,
and C.I.B FI EE SE CH  Carnoustie´s Object of Desire at Corydon to England, as the first rough collies
ever exported from Finland to Slovenia and England.
From this litter we kept sable
bitch FI EE SE  CH, EE VET CH, VICE WORLD VET W-14 Carnoustie´s La Dolce Vita.
Her first litter to  C. Will  Beam Me Up produced the lovely sable male  FI EE LV CH  Beam of Light,
who also was a CACIB winner. Her second litter was to CIB FI SE EE CH, BH
Carnoustie´s Double-O-Seven, and the  youngsters look promising.
We kept two bitches, a sable and a tricolour from this litterr, FI EE LV  J CH La Traviata
and  FI EE LV CH La Vida Loca, who we later placed as a breeding term bitch.

Object of Desire at Corydon in England produced high quality puppies, Corydon Copperita
being the most succesful one, taking BOBs already from puppy classes, and also
class winner at Crufts 2008, and rCC.  2008 after his stud job in England was over,
he returned back to Europe, and lived in Latvia. He  produced
several CC/CACIB winners and some champions.
INT CH Crème de la Crème produced one litter in Slovenia, only one survivor that died at young age.
She never managed to give birth to any puppies after that.

2005 we also mated DK import Pahlex Attired By Addict to INT CH Corydon Will
Carnegie, and kept the wonderful sable male Will  Beam Me Up, who was a lovely mix
of his father, and his grandfather INT MULTI CH Corydon Beam Me Up. From
this litter a tri bitch was exported to Russia, where she had a very succesful
show career, and she is now RU RKF BLR RU GR CH. A beautiful tri
male was also  exported to Norway, but was unfortunately never shown.

2005 we mated Black Elles Tara´s Hope for the last time, to EE SE LV RU  Carnoustie´s Will Do
Impact, and got a beautiful litter of 5 puppies. Two sable males were of outstanding
quality, and one tri bitch. One of the males were sold as adult to Russia, where he
is a very succesful stud dog. The sable male and the tri bitch have had good
success in junior and intermediate classes in Finland. But again, some hip faults.

2005 we also bred one puli litter, mainly based on Susanne´s mother´s wish to get
a son to her succesful puli bitch. Luckily INT MULTI CH Weetoneon Mack the Knife
was leased to Finland, and we  were the only breeders in Finland that were allowed
to use him, and got a very succesful litter of five pups.
We kept C.I.B. FI SE RU EE LT CH, FINJW05, NORDJW05, ESTW06, FINW06
Carnoustie´s Reggae Man. His brother was exported to Russia as the first puli ever ,
and has been very succesful gaining MD J CH MD CH, RUS J CH RUS BLG BLR CH
titles, but sadly lost some teeth in a fight and never got the crowning CACIB. Their sister in Finland was
been sparingly shown, but had CC, BOS. Later on, she died in cancer at a young age.

2007  Ch Prima Fantazija gave us a beautiful sable male by INT CH Promised Paradise
Fantazija - and this puppy was grandson to two of the most important males in the breed -
INT CH Corydon Will Carnegie and INT MULTI CH Heidelind´s No Good For You.
Unfortunately he died in leukemia at 2 years age.
Sadly, C.I.B. Prima Fantazija never managed to produce puppies again, and we let her go
as a pet to our friends.

2008 we mated FI RU EE LT CH Carnoustie´s Silver Flower to  CC, CACIB winner
BH Leaftribe Old Black Joe, and got a very beautiful litter of 8 puppies, and they
had tremendous success, with CIB FI EE CH, FIJW-09, FIW-09 Solitaire,  Tricolour  Breed Record Holder
CIB FI SE EE CH BHDouble-O-Seven, MULTI CH Solange, CC-winner Scaramanga, rCC winner Elektra etc.

Also C Prima Godiva was mated, to CC-winner Code Da Vinci Fantazija and produced
two lovely sable boys, one of them exported to Sweden.

EE CH C Pleasant Touch was also mated to C Will Beam Me Up and we got a nice litter
of five pups, one export to Denmark.

2009 we mated Pahlex Attired by Addict to our CH Xtremely Blue Carnoustie from Fantazija,
and we got a beautiful litter of 3 males,  Xtremely Xclusive was exported to Denmark where
he immediately at his first show ever took CC, BOS.

2010 we mated Pahlex Attired by Addict a last time, to CH Carnoustie´s Object of Desire at Corydon,
and got a lovely litter of five pups, of which we kept one male and one bitch at home. Sadly the bitch
had three premolars missing so we let her go to young girl who will do obedience with her.
Even more sadly her beautiful brother died at 8 months age in acute leukemia.
Two males from the litter have been very succesful, FI EE LV CH, 3 x CACIB Carnoustie´s Love Is My Desire,
and  C. Addicted to Desire took 2 x CC, BOB at a young age, and was also awarded Hero Dog Award for
saving his owner from an aggressive bear attacking.

2010 we also mated Ch Rejejs Joie De Vivre for Carnoustie to Carnoustie´s Double-O-Seven and got
four pups of medium quality, that we all found good homes for.
Also CH La Dolce Vita was mated  to Double-O-Seven and got three bitches, FI EE LV J CH La Traviata,
FI EE LV CH La VIda Loca, and 1st prize obedience winner, jun 1st exc at shows La Bella Principessa.

2010 Carnoustie´s got the Vuolasvirta Plaque from the Finnish Kennel Club - the highest merit a breeder
can get in Finland.  Rejejs Joie De Vivre for Carnoustie took BOS, W-10.

In the beginning of 2011, a new tricolour lady, Rejejs Niagara Song, joined our team.  Sadly, she had an
accident and broke her right hip and needed surgery, so she will probably never be a show dog, but
hopefully she will be able to do a litter.

2011 was a good year for us, with Solitaire taking CACIB at Vaasa international, and her
crowning CC in great style at Viitasaari by going BOB, BIG, BIS ! She was also at Piteå international show
in Sweden CC, CACIB, BOB, BIG-1.

Her merle friend Rejejs Joie De Vivre for Carnoustie decided to do even better, and was BIS at the international
show in Riga in June, and the following day at the other international show, she became BIS-4. This is the
first time ever a collie has gone BIS at int show level in Latvia, and we are very proud. One week later she
finished her C.I.B-title and EE CH title in Estonia, as well as did Object of Desire at Corydon.  A couple of
weeks later she was BIS-1 at the Swedish collie speciality show in Piteå.

During 2011 our dogs (owned or bred by us) took altogether 18 CHAMPION TITLES, including two international
champion titles. Many were health examined, temperament tested, competed in obedience trial etc,
with good results (for more results see our text Closing the year 2011  in our Diary 2011).

Solitaire made us a beautiful litter of 7 pups together with FI CH, HEW-10 Wicani Caped Crusader, and we kept
one tri bitch, and one merle bitch. From this litter we also exported Carnoustie's Rameses to USA, and he has
been a valuable add to Holmhaven kennels breeding in Florida.
Late December we mated C.I.B Joie de Vivre to the fantastic CH Carnoustie´s Attired By Frost, and we hope for
lovely merle-tri pups February 2012.

To be continued .....

best to send only top quality!

their own Carnoustie-bitch or dog, to include, or use as a start in their own breeding programme.
Carnoustie-dogs have achieved about 200 show- and obedience titles, in 20 countries worldwide.

Carnoustie dogs can be seen in 14 countries - Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark,
