I would almost like to use Queen Elisabeth’s words – what an annus horribilis.
We all know the covid-19 situation, and it has changed the world upside down for everyone.
Also, in July, my father lost his three year long battle against cancer.

There have been some rays of lights though. CH Nefertiti gave birth to one tri male in the beginning of the year, a puppy with beautiful conformation, and he stayed at home.
Sadly, when changing to adult teeth, he developed an incorrect bite, so we found him a good pet home.

Aphrodite gave birth to a litter of six puppies, of which we kept the lovely sable bitch Euphrosyne, who is now 9 months old, and looking really promising.

In August a very special litter was born in Fresita’s kennel, one of the rare double matings that has given puppies from both sires: our Ch Carry On sired a sable male and a tri female,
and our 3 x CC-winner Show Stopper sired a tri female. We purchased the sable male puppy.
Dame to the puppies is the outstanding CIB NORD BALT CH FI SE EE LV LT NO CH TK1 Carnoustie’s Zirconium.
The tricolours stayed at Fresita’s kennel.

In August we also had a litter of six puppies, sired by Carry On, dame Dispiritos Stara Zagora for Carnoustie.

During the year CH Carry On also sired two litters in Fresita’s, one in Windy Forest’s and one in Silverlady’s – thanks for trusting him, and good luck with the puppies,
that look really promising! Offfspring from his three oldest litters are now examined, 7 x HD-free, 7 x ED-free, 6 x cea-free, 1 x crd.
Just hope that people will realize his value as a stud dog before he gets too old – he becomes a veteran in January 2021 (still high quality sperm though).
Carry On also attended one show this year, and took his crowning CC with BOS, and became FI CH (our kennel's 25th FI CH). He took his three needed CCs in three shows.
If the covid-situation allows shows next year, we plan to show him in veteran classes.

From the litter with Carry On x Dispiritos Stara Zagora for Carnoustie we kept a sable bitch. A sable male and a sable female were sent to breeders in USA,
and one sable male to an active show person in Sweden. Good luck little ones!

Aquamarine in Sweden continued to take results in both obedience and agility, and took 2 CCs towards her Rally Obedience title.
Carry On is The New Black was used in breeding for the first time, and a huge litter is expected in Kristallisäde kennel next year.

In Florida, Rameses once again sired a big litter of 8 puppies, I believe that he has about 100 puppies in US now.

Blue Sapphire in Sweden sired a beautiful litter at Skabona kennel.

Ch Record Breaker was #2 Top Collie in Slovakia year 2019, as he was in 2018. His first litters will hopefully be born 2021.

Next year we will have a blue merle – tri litter in the end of January and also hoping for a sable-tri litter in February, and later in spring another sable-tri litter, stay tuned for more information!
